Scar Mkadinali Delivers Drill Digest Assisted "Bachelor Degree" Visuals

Scar Mkadinali is outmatching everyone, man.

He teams up with the truest of HipHop outlets Drill Digest in the video for "Bachelor Degree."

Taken from Scar Mkadinali's latest solo album, "#Eazy," the high-priced video has Scar entering a photographic studio rocking a $250 black leather jacket with the explicit Drill Digest logo behind it, complete with a million dollar attitude.

The front pocket size logo catches your eyes as he bursts into the Drill Digest boiler room. The Nairobi rapper, who's one-third of the Wakadinali rap trio, heads to our film directors' chair, where an unmethodical makeup artist practices his craft all over him.

To convey the sarcasm of this song's title, the phenom Scar Mkadinali rushes to the white background in what seems like a graduation speech. He raps in a graduation gown fitted over his shoulders by a certified street cat while posing for a dreadlocked photographer, in a fit of classic arrogance and a bit of pride in a way only he can.

As soon as he slides the gown off his shoulders and throws the mortarboard hat to the ground, the video makes a changeover to a black background where Riz Mangwai continues to rap in front of the Sibling Dance Crew.

What follows is a moment of reminiscence that grants a mirror into Scar's soul as he reflects on his dead homeboy and Virusi Mbaya, who he credited for giving him the desired breakthrough in music.

He raps, "I miss Gully and my man; he was so viable, I was so pained I never came to your burial. Me, you Virusi and Lucio, Real Nigga shit, that's what you remind me of." This line is so hardcore that it gives you that feeling of Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Mc Ren missing Eazy E's funeral.

Next, Scar Mkadinali sits with a balaclava masked queen bitch on an Oprah Winfrey Show-like green couch. You can see his colorful Maasai bracelet on the left wrist and a smouldering joint on the other hand. A folded graduation certificate lies discarded on the table.

The following scenes are shot in our $ 100,000 Mercedes S Class with faux leather seats and crazy head and leg rooms. Kovu continues the vibe to his song while on the wheel in a fit showing spectacular opulence.

As Scar took a small break from a drill-type beat on "Bachelor Degree," Drill Digest precisely selected two of the freakiest dancers off the Sibling Dance Crew to give the Shakkers Entertainment dancers a rest on a Wakadinali related video. The video ends with a view of Scar's original Air Jordan 4 Retro Sneakers.

Chronicles aside, Scar Mkadinali's rap prowess is still unapologetic as ever. Subjectively, "Bachelor Degree" is something like YG's "Bompton's Finest" or E-Sir's "Lyrical Tongue Twister," which are all deep reflections of the respective artists' standing in music and life.

Despite the switch from the producer AFRVCA to Ares 66, as stated by Scar in a recent Drill Digest interview, "Bachelor Degree" is a reminder that Scar Mkadinali is no stranger to lyrical adventure. He isn't afraid to explore other hip-hop genres far from Kenyan drill music.

As we wait for the much anticipated "Ndani Ya Cockpit 3: All Grown Up" by Wakadinali, it's safe to say that this Drill Digest assisted video is en route to becoming the most critically acclaimed piece in Kenya and the rest of Africa.
